The Transfer Center is in full swing of fall activities! September was busy with students applying for the UC Transfer Admission Gurantee (TAG) program and our Transfer Day event last week. October will be busy with the UC and CSU applications open. The following is a list of the upcoming events in the Transfer Center. Please share with your students!
Transfer Center Events
UC Personal Insight Essay Workshops
This year the UC admissions application requires students to write 4 “personal insight” essays. These essays have replaced the personal statement essays. There are a total of four essays that students are required to complete as part of their admissions applications. We are offering four workshops to help students write their personal insight essays! Two workshops will be presented by our UC Davis Transfer Representative and two workshops will be presented by one of our Counselors. Students are encouraged to register online (they can go to the Transfer Center events page on the website). We will provide snacks and fabulous prizes! These workshops are located in the Transfer Center (room 1604).
